ACIEM has been awarded a Gold Medal Award for health and safety performance in 2017 from The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA). This is the seventh consecutive RoSPA Gold Award that the business has achieved.
Commenting on the award, ACIEM’s HSEQ Manager, Stephen Hall, said, “I’m delighted that we have received our seventh consecutive Gold award. This award inspires us to drive change and keep our safety standards at their highest. It provides ACIEM with recognition and proof for new clients when tendering that ACIEM adheres to the standards set by RoSPA. I would like to thank everybody that helped us in gaining this industry recognised achievement.”
Julia Small, RoSPA’s Head of Awards and Events, said, “The RoSPA Awards are the most prestigious in the world of occupational health and safety, and held in high regard around the world, as winning one demonstrates an organisation’s commitment to maintaining an excellent health and safety record. Achieving the standard required is no mean feat.”
To mark the achievement, Managing Director Martin Whitfield attended RoSPA’s Centenary Garden Party at Buckingham Palace on 25 May. The invitation-only event, hosted by HRH The Duke of York and HRH Princess Eugenie of York, was the pinnacle of RoSPA’s ongoing 100th birthday celebrations.
