ACIEM has opened a new office and workshop in Yorkshire to support its varied and growing work with Yorkshire Water.
The current team of 17 people moved into the new premises in Batley, West Yorkshire on 11 September, with plans to recruit another half a dozen people at the site over the coming months.
The building includes stores and a workshop area on the ground floor, a first floor office, and a shared kitchen, canteen and welfare area. The on-site stores and workshop mean the team is now able to carry out in-house assembly works.
Mark Gosling, Framework Manager, said, “Our Framework with Yorkshire Water continues to grow and in order to support this we identified that we needed to establish our own premises in Yorkshire, which allows us to be more responsive to client and project requirements. The premises also gives us the ideal balance, with a nice mixed environment for workshop and office workers, as well as being big enough to suit our growing needs.”
