Two more electrical apprentices have joined the ACIEM team, adding to the growing number of apprentices across the business.
Samuel White and Jacob Saunders embarked on their five-year Advanced Electrical Apprenticeship in September, which comprises three years at college and two years’ site based NVQ with assessments from the training provider.
Samuel commented, “When applying for apprenticeships, I was looking for a company that would provide me with an exciting working environment and give me the knowledge and experience I need for a successful career. It was clear during my interview that ACIEM was the company for me. Since joining ACIEM, I have been made to feel very welcome by everyone and I am excited to prosper within the business, whilst being surrounded by highly skilled individuals who are helping me every step of the way. I look forward to growing within ACIEM and eventually qualifying as an electrician.”
Martin Whitfield, Managing Director, added, “As a company, we have always recognised the need for and benefit of skills training and development. Apprenticeships offer an ideal opportunity to introduce people into our business who want to learn a trade and build a career, enhancing the capability within the ACIEM Group at the same time. We’re delighted to welcome our new apprentices into the ACIEM team and look forward to helping them achieve their career ambitions.”
Meanwhile, Max Watson is the latest ACIEM electrical apprentice to become qualified, having passed his final AM2 exams in July. Commenting on his experience to date, he said, “I enjoy working within this company and industry, which offer wide-ranging opportunities for progression. There are a number of challenges that we overcome on a daily basis, ensuring that we are always learning and achieving personal growth. My colleagues and mentors have offered great support through helping me learn the necessary skills to pass my AM2 exams and qualify as an electrician here at ACIEM.”
